A special thanks to the ARMED FORCE FAMILY for all their tireless efforts, support and donations towards our Second Annual Charity Day of Play.

It is times like these that remind all of us, of just how truly amazing the paintball community can be.

For those who missed this event, read below learn about this great organization and what they intend to do with the proceeds.

armySergeant First Class Isaac "Shawn" Lawson was a native Sacramentoan, and attended Elk Grove High School. He had 11 years of exemplary service with the United States Army, before retiring with an honorable discharge. guardApparently retirement didn't sit well with the father of three, because he quickly signed up to join the California Army National Guard. It was on a tour of Iraq with his Guard unit that Sgt. First Class Lawson was killed in action, on June 5, 2006. He was set to return to his wife and children in September.

statueOperation 4-Heroes is a great organization whose mission is to create a memorial park near Travis AFB in honor of SGT First Class Lawson and the other great servicemen and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our wonderful nation. Please help us help them reach their goal to create the statue. A statue which will be the centerpiece of this beautiful park that will not only serve as a reminder of all that these brave servicemen and women have given, but as a place for the rest of the community to appreciate all that they have received.

We will also be collecting a few items to send over to our active troops in the form of a care package. If you would like to contribute please bring: white athletic socks, baby wipes, hand lotion, sun screen or air fresheners (the kind you hang in your car).
